Another year ahead for Bellmore’s businesses

The Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores’ 2024 Installation dinner was an evening that celebrated businesses, community relationships and meaningful partnerships throughout the year. It took place on Feb. 3 at the Crest Hollow Country Club, a catering hall and event space on Jericho Turnpike in Woodbury.

The installation dinner honored several influential members of the Chamber of Commerce, including Jim and Marie Spohrer of Bellmore Automotive. They were named the Chamber Members of the Year.

Paul Zuckerberg of the Bellmore Fire Department was named the Outstanding Community Person of the Year, while the Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Steve Chernoff of Bellmore Stationary.

Gene Judd of Island Greenery, will remain president of the chamber for 2024.
