RAEL: The Music of Genesis
The ‘70s come alive — specifically the Genesis take on that era with RAEL’s rocking version of the legendary British band. RAEL’s high-energy, musically-detailed interpretations of Genesis are spot on, according to critics and fans. The popular tribute band focuses on faithfully reproducing full album versions from the Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett early era. Hear tracks from “Nursery Cryme,” “Foxtrot,” “Selling England by the Pound,” “The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway,” and “A Trick of the Tail.” Lloyd Gold takes on lead vocals and flute while Rob Shepard hits the keyboards and plays acoustic guitar, Paul Sheehan sits at the drums, Sal Locascio plays guitar, and Mike Belmonte handles the bass. RAEL pays homage to the groundbreaking and influential band by incorporating the musical excellence, lyrical storytelling and theatricality that brought Genesis to its position of prominence in the rock world.
