Assemblyman Curran to take part in Triathlon fundraiser
Seeks sponsors to help Wounded Warrior Project
New York State Assemblyman Brian Curran, 14th AD, is inviting the public to consider being a sponsor in a Triathlon that he is participating in on Sunday, August 28 in Wading River. All proceeds from the Xterra Off-Road Triathlon will go to the Wounded Warrior Project.
The mission of the WWP is to honor and empower wounded warriors. The organization’s purpose is to raise awareness and to enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members; to help injured servicemen and women aid and assist each other; and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs. The Wounded Warrior motto is “No one is ever left behind.”
