East Rockaway HS Anti-Bias Club visits soup kitchen
High School juniors serve guests lunch, host bake sale to raise funds

On Tuesday, November 22, ten juniors from the East Rockaway High School Anti-Bias Club visited the soup kitchen in Hempstead to help serve the guests hot lunches. In the morning the students sorted out food and clothing so the guests could ‘shop’ for warm winter clothing and take home a bag of food. They also held a bake sale to purchase hats, scarves and gloves for the guests. It was a wonderful experience for all of us.
