Lynbrook officials recognizes nurse practitioner

Mayor Brian Curran, the Board of Trustees and Nassau County Legislator Francis X. Becker, Jr. recognized Margaret (Peg) O’Donnell, NP, for being awarded the New York State Nurse Practitioner’s Association Advocate State Award for Excellence. 

O’Donnell is a nurse practitioner with the Monte Nussbaum, MD, Family Practice in Lynbrook. The award is given annually to an individual who has made a significant contribution toward increasing awareness and acceptance of nurse practitioners. Past recipients of this award have been physicians, legislators and educators.
