Two arrested for using phony credit cards at Shake A Paw

Two people were arrested in Lynbrook on July 28 after trying to make a purchase at Shake A Paw on Atlantic Avenue with fraudulent credit cards a day earlier, according to Nassau County police.

Mamadou Ndiaye, 21, and Ajani Jones, 18, both of Brooklyn, first attempted to buy items at the Lynbrook store on July 27. When they both returned the following day, the clerk contacted the Lynbrook Police Department and Ndiaye and Jones were located and arrested at the intersection of Merrick Road and Earle Avenue at 3:45 p.m., police said.

According to police, at the time of the arrest, Ndiaye had a forged credit card and Florida drivers license and Jones had several forged credit cards and checks.

Ndiaye was charged with two counts of second-degree possession forged instrument and third-degree grand larceny. Jones is being charges with six counts of second-degree possession forged instrument and third-degree Grand Larceny. They were arraigned on July 29 at First District Court in Hempstead.
