Elmont Bangtails take 2nd place

The Elmont Bangtails came in second place at the Nassau County Motorized Drill.

The Elmont, Hempstead, Westbury, West Hempstead and Port Washington fire departments participated in the Nassau County Motorized Drill in Hicksville on July 9.
Drill teams participated in several categories, including the Three Man Ladder, Buckets and the Motor Pump. The Hempstead Yellow Hornets came in first place, with 29 points; the Elmont Bangtails came in second place, with 17 points; the Westbury Turtles came in third, with 16 points; the West Hempstead Westerners came in fourth, with 15 points; and the Port Washington Road Runners came in fifth, with 12 points.
