Ahuva's Grill in North Lawrence robbed of $520

A break-in at Ahuva’s Grill at 480 Rockaway Turnpike, in North Lawrence, at 3:38 a.m. on Feb. 13 netted an alleged thief $520, $500 from the cash register and $20 from the tip jar, according to Nassau County police.

Police say they are looking for a light-skinned man who allgedly broke into the front of the store. According to video surveillance,  he left the store and headed north by foot going  on Rockaway Turnpike. He has a heavy build and was  wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, red/black sneakers, gloves and a black facemask.
