Wilber Quinteros Sigaran, 21, of Inwood was arrested for alleged assault and burglary on Oct. 2, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
Officers responded to a call reporting an active burglary on Wahl Avenue in Inwood at 4:35 a.m.
When they arrived, Sigaran was allegedly fleeing the scene and police apprehended and arrested him using a taser, police said.
Sigaran will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Oct. 3.
