Two men from the Bronx were charged for the alleged theft of property after Nassau police responded to a call of stealing from a car near the intersection of Rugby and Arlington roads in Cedarhurst at 3 a.m. on Sept. 12.

After viewing video with the alleged victim, a man, 22, the police found Taveon Hargrove, 21, and Taimar Tyrell Antonio, 26, both of Seward Avenue.

Police learned that there is a warrant from the Norfolk Police Department requesting Hargrove’s extradition to Virginia. Antonio was found with stolen property from other incidents, police said.

Hargrove is charged with petit larceny and will be extradited to Norfolk after his arraignment.

Antonio is charged with petit larceny and two counts of criminal possession of stolen property.

Hargrove and Antonio were both released without bail. The Legal Aid Society of Nassau County represents Antonio. As of press time, he was issued a summons. Danielle Papa represents Hargrove, whose next court date was Sept. 27.
