Beatrice Marcus, at 96

Beatrice Marcus, a 50-year resident of the Five Towns, died at her Woodmere home on April 12. She was 96.

Beatrice was born in New York City and was a member of the Woodmere chapter of Hadassah and the Five Towns Senior Center.

Beatrice was pre-deceased by her husband, Nathan Marcus. She is survived by her children, Roberta Tunick and Larry Marcus, and her son-in-law, Harris Tunick; and by her grandchildren, Russell, Lisa and Brian; and great-grandchildren, Maya Rose and Lilly Reese.

Funeral services were held at Boulevard Riverside Memorial Chapels in Hewlett with burial at Mount Hebron Cemetery in Flushing, Queens.
