The Hebrew Academy of the Five Towns and Rockaway (HAFTR) pre-Hanukkah book fair stirred students to look for new books as well as old favorites “Wonder” by Raquel J. Palacio and “The One And Only Ivan” by Katherine Applegate, as voted by the students.

Books representing genres such as art, music, fantasy and science were available for the children to explore and enjoy. Phyllis Horowitz and Dale Rubin helped the children choose the books that are right for them. The PTA, the Book Fair Committee and many other HAFTR parents supported and attended the book fair.
