Cedarhurst village brings the summer music

Cedarhurst  kicked off its summer concert series “Salute to America and Our Veterans” with what attendees described as an "electrifying performance" by Vinyl Revival at Andrew J. Parise Cedarhurst Park on July 9.

The band delivered a show that included blending classic hits with a modern twist that kept the audience dancing.

"We are thrilled to have had Vinyl Revival set the stage for our summer concert kickoff," Cedarhurst Mayor Benjamin Weinstock said in a nes release. "Their energetic performance and unique sound created an atmosphere that truly resonated with everyone in attendance."

Village officials noted their appreciation  of the sponsors, which included PFC. John J. Oliveri Post 1582 Veterans of Foreign Wars, Lawrence-Cedhurst American Legion Post 339  and Assemblyman Ari Brown, who also serves as Cedarhurst's deputy mayor.  

"These sponsors have played a crucial role in making these concerts a reality, and we are deeply thankful for their ongoing support," Mayor Weinstock added.

The village's Summer Concert Series will continue to offer musical experiences throught the summer.

The next concert is set for Tuesday, July 16, featuring a night of Irish Music with Andy Cooney and the Donny Golden School of Irish Dancing at 8 p.m., preceded by SHTARK Contrast, a kid’s journey through Broadway favorites at 7 p.m.
