Village of Lawrence trustee and Jewish Community Relations Council of Long Island Nassau County Advisory Council member Michael Fragin and Village of Cedarhurst Deputy Mayor Benjamin Weinstock were two of several Five Towns Orthodox community members and rabbis, who met with Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-Mineola) to discuss the importance of the U.S. – Israel relationship during a meeting on Feb. 6.
The JCRC-LI seeks to inform and organize Long Islanders to take action to address community relation issues important to both the Jewish and non-Jewish communities.
