Robbery

WOODMERE-Three women allegedly threatened harm and robbed another woman of her jewelry, passport and cell phone outside of a pharmacy on Broadway on Saturday at 3 p.m., police said.

A woman approached the victim, 21, in Far Rockaway, and told her she would pay her if she helped in cashing a winning lottery ticket, according to police. Two other women then picked up the woman and the victim in a dark green minivan with tinted windows and drove to the victim’s residence to get her pocketbook and identification, police said.

Then at the pharmacy, the women asked the victim to go inside the store to pick up a prescription, but insisted she leave her jewelry and pocketbook in the vehicle.

When she refused one of the other women allegedly pressed a sharp unknown object to her neck. As she feared for her safety, the woman left the property in the van and entered the pharmacy, after she did, the other women fled in the van in an unknown direction, according to police. The woman was uninjured.

Arrests

HEWLETT-Two men were arrested for allegedly stealing another man’s bicycle in Hewlett on Oct. 11 at 11:45 a.m.

Anthony Campbell, 19, of Beach Channel Drive in Far Rockaway, and Cawaun Milam, 19, of Jamaica, took mountain bike from in front of Bagelo, an eatery at 26 Franklin Ave., according to police.

When the owner of the bicycle saw the men take the bike, he chased them on foot and grabbed hold of the bicycle. Following a brief struggle, in which Campbell allegedly went to hit the man, the bike was recovered as both Campbell and Milam fled the scene, police said.

After a 911 call was placed regarding the attempted theft of the bicycle while it was happening, 4th Precinct officers located and arrested both men a short time later between Broadway and North Wood Lane in Woodmere.

Campbell and Milam have been charged with robbery-second degree and were arraigned on Oct.12 at First District Court in Hempstead.

LAWRENCE-Nikia M. Davis, 18, of Far Rockaway, was arrested for shoplifting assorted clothing from a department store on Rockaway Turnpike at 7:39 p.m. on

Oct. 9.

Grand larceny

HEWLETT-A credit card, a debit card, a wallet and an Adelphi University ID were taken from a vehicle parked on Peninsula Boulevard between 2:30 and 10:40 a.m. on Oct. 9, police said.

Larceny

WOODMERE-On Oct. 5 at 2:45 a.m., $20 and a rain jacket were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on Longacre Avenue, according to police.

WOODMERE-An iPod and sunglasses were taken from a vehicle parked on May Field Road between Oct. 6 at 5:30 p.m. and Oct. 7 at 8:50 a.m., authorities said.

WOODMERE-A bicycle was stolen from the driveway of a residence on Oxford Road between Oct. 6 at 11 p.m. and Oct. 7 at 2:30 p.m., officials said.

ATLANTIC BEACH-Between Oct. 9 at 9 p.m. and Oct. 10 at 6 a.m., $50 and a cross were stolen from a vehicle parked on Beech Street, police said.

ATLANTIC BEACH-Sunglasses and $25 were taken from a vehicle on Beech Street between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Oct. 9, according to police.

ATLANTIC BEACH-An iPod and $5 was stolen from a vehicle parked on Beech Street on Oct. 9 between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., authorities said.

WOODMERE-A resident of Brower Avenue reported that three slats from their fence were removed between Oct. 9 at 11 p.m. and 6 a .m. on Oct. 10, Officials said.
