Arrests

NORTH WOODMERE- Eric Salazar, 21, of Far Rockaway, was arrested at 4:20 p.m. on Aug. 2 and charged with petit larceny for allegedly shoplifting from a department store on Rockaway Turnpike, police said.

NORTH WOODMERE- Natasha Major, 25, of Jamaica, had a verbal argument with a manager. Major was arrested for destroying merchandise at a clothing store on Rockaway Turnpike at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 10, according to police. She was charged with criminal mischief-third degree.

INWOOD- Emerson Cruz, 34, of Inwood, was arrested at noon on Aug. 11 at the intersection of Doughty Boulevard and Bayview Avenue and charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an incident without a report, authorities said.

Larceny from Auto

WOODMERE- Sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Green Place between noon and 6 p.m. on July 30, according to police.

Petit larceny

CEDARHURST- At 11:52 p.m. on July 29 water bottles were taken from the front porch of a house on Madison Avenue, authorities said.

INWOOD- Assorted tools, a bicycle and stereo were stolen from a garage on Soloff Boulevard on Aug. 7 between midnight and 6 a.m., officials said.

CEDARHURST- A package that was delivered to a house on Fifth Avenue was taken at 2 p.m. on Aug., 10, police said.

Criminal mischief

INWOOD- Between 7 p.m. on Aug. 7 and 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 8, a vehicle on Wahl Avenue was scratched, according to police.
