Goldilocks jailed

The Hewlett elementary school students in Nancy Fisher's fifth-grade class performed a mock trial on June 9. Goldilocks was on trial for criminal trespassing of the three bears' house. The students served as the prosecuting attorneys, defense attorneys, court officers, numerous witnesses and, of course, Goldilocks herself. Appellate Court Judge Harwood presided. After both sides presented their cases, Goldilocks was found not guilty by Judge Harwood.
