HAFTR’s Hawks are league champions

The Hebrew Academy of the Five Towns and Rockaway girls’ basketball team, coached by Irwin Koppelman and Alan Weichselbaum, won the Yeshiva League championship by defeating SAR High School of Riverdale 39-30 on March 24. Hawks Stephanie Greenberg and Kayla Levinson were named co-MVPS.
