Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library is conducting. its annual user survey, asking patrons for feedback on programs and services. The brief survey can be filled out through Feb. 28 online at https://www.hwpl.org/survey/.

“Every library has a plan of service, and it’s a good idea to check in with the community every so often to see if we’re still moving in the right direction or need to make some changes,” Library Director William Ferro stated in a news release “This survey will allow us to find out what our patrons think, and the more who respond, the better.”

Responses will provide the library valuable insight into the current practices, needs and wants of its users and allow HWPL to create and improve services to support learning, growing and exploring at the library on Broadway in Hewlett.

“It is exciting to see the various ways we’re impacting our community,” James Hartmann, HWPL’s Head of User Experience and Technology said in the release. “Due to the pandemic we’ve begun to offer many more digital services from home, including streaming video, ebook, and digital programs, and it’s nice to get feedback.”

Surveys have been sent to patrons with registered email addresses. The survey can also be accessed online at https://www.hwpl.org/survey/. For more information, call (516) 374-1967 or visit the library.
