Nassau police seek public's help

Crime stoppers and Nassau County police need the public’s help in identifying this man, who is alleged to have stolen a cell phone from a store in Hewlett.

Nassau County police and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who is alleged to have stolen a Samsung Galaxy S3 cell phone valued at $600 from the T Mobile store at 1338 Peninsula Blvd., in the Peninsula Shopping Center in Hewlett on Feb. 18 at 12:55 p.m.
The man fled with another black man, who was also in the store, in a silver Lincoln sport utility vehicle.
Crime Stoppers asks anyone with information about the incident to call its toll free hotline at 1-800-244-8477. All calls are kept confidential. There is up to a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
