Franklin Square man arrested for alleged menacing at Tony's Tacos

Nassau police arrested a Franklin Square man who allegedly menaced a clerk with a handgun on Aug. 23 at 8:50 p.m.

Police said Kevin Warren, 62, of 122 Garage St., Franklin Square, entered Tony’s Tacos at 677 Hempstead Turnpike last Friday and allegedly brandished a handgun at the clerk. The clerk "feared for her life and safety,” according to police.

Warren was seen running from the store in an unknown direction, police said. He was arrested and charged with alleged menacing and was arraigned on Aug. 27 in Hempstead District Court.
