John Pizzarelli brings his jazz-pop stylings to Molloy’s Madison Theatre, on Monday, March 5, at 8 p.m. Known as the premier interpreter of the Great American Songbook, the Grammy-nominated jazz guitarist, singer and bandleader – whose guitar can be heard on Paul McCartney’s latest CD – will be joined by his wife, singer/actress Jessica Molaskey, and Steven Pasquale.
Variously described as “hip with a wink” (Town & Country) and “madly creative” (Los Angeles Times), Pizzarrelli delivers plenty of charm along with his creative musicianship. Tickets are $30-$45; available at (516) 678-5000 ext. 7715 or www.madisontheatreny.org.
