Thursday's storm blew through Franklin Square, Elmont

The thunderstorms that smacked our area Thursday night caused major destruction in parts of Staten Island, Brooklyn and Queens, but did not leave Franklin Square and Elmont unharmed. Trees and parts of trees were down, such as the two locations in these photos.
