Glen Cove Downtown Business Improvement District hosts annual Halloween parade

Downtown Glen Cove was transformed into a Halloween wonderland on Oct. 31 as the Glen Cove Downtown Business Improvement District hosted its annual Halloween Parade and Festival. Little ghouls, superheroes, princesses and other costumed characters took to the streets for an afternoon of spooky fun, with families enjoying trick-or-treating at participating downtown businesses, pumpkin painting, pony rides, mini golf, games, bounce houses and music from a DJ. The festivities also featured a costume contest for children ages 12 and younger, giving young revelers a chance to show off their Halloween creativity. From colorful costumes to festive activities, the event brought families together for a spirited celebration and filled downtown Glen Cove with Halloween excitement.
