Summer in Glen Cove offers no shortage of opportunities to get outside and enjoy the season. The Deep Roots Farmers Market brings fresh produce, baked goods and local vendors to Village Square every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Nov. 7. On Sunday evenings, Morgan Memorial Park comes alive with the Morgan Park Summer Music Festival, featuring nine free waterfront concerts at 7 p.m. from July 5 through Aug. 30. Meanwhile, Downtown Sounds celebrates its 30th season with free live music in Village Square every Friday evening in July and August beginning at 7:30 p.m. Together, these longstanding community events give residents and visitors plenty of reasons to gather, shop local and enjoy Glen Cove throughout the summer.
