Floodlight Company No. 1 hosts Fire Safety Awareness

The Rockville Centre Fire Department's Floodlight Rescue Company No. 1 will host a Fire Safety Awareness event on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the RVCFD Headquarters, located at 58 N. Centre Ave.
The event, which will take place rain or shine, aims to educate the community about fire safety practices and emergency preparedness.
Attendees will have the opportunity to watch an auto extrication demonstration and participate in a tour of a fire truck. There will also be games and raffles, making the event family-friendly.
This safety initiative seeks to engage residents in important fire prevention techniques while offering an interactive and informative experience.
