The Rockville Centre St. Patrick's Parade Committee is accepting applications from nonprofit organizations interested in being named one of its three official charities for 2027.
Each year, the parade selects a local, national and Irish charitable organization to support through fundraising efforts and awareness campaigns tied to parade events and activities throughout the year.
The parade's 2026 charities were Rescuing Families, Inc., Nassau County Firefighters: Operation Wounded Warrior and Run For Mary. Since its founding in 1997, the parade organization has donated more than $1.8 million to charitable causes.
Applications for the 2027 charity program are due by July 20. Additional information and application details are available at RVCStPatrick.com.
Next year’s parade will take place on March 20.
