Students at Francis F. Wilson Elementary School enjoyed a day of excitement and school spirit during Field Day on May 29, as classrooms and hallways gave way to friendly competition and outdoor fun.

The annual event brought students together for a break from routine academics and a chance to participate in a variety of team-based activities.

Throughout the day, students rotated through a mix of competitions held both outside on the athletic fields and inside the gymnasium. Events tested speed, coordination, and teamwork, with classmates cheering one another on and teachers helping to keep the energy high. The gym buzzed with activity as indoor stations provided additional challenges for students of all ages.

Outside, the field served as the center of much of the action, where larger group games and relay-style events took place under clear conditions. Students participated enthusiastically, working together in teams while enjoying the friendly rivalry that is a hallmark of Field Day traditions.

To help everyone cool off after the spirited competitions, a large water sprinkler was set up outdoors, quickly becoming a favorite stop for students. Laughter and excitement filled the air as children ran through the spray, ending the day refreshed after a full schedule of games, movement, and celebration.
