In Concert
Lou Gramm
The iconic voice of Foreigner, Lou Gramm, brings his acoustic show to the area for a special evening that highlights the hit songs of the band that defined a generation. Gramm, one of Foreigner’s legendary songwriting talents, who helped launch 10 multi-platinum albums and multiple Top 30 hits, was inducted into the 2013 class of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, along with bandmate Mick Jones. He co-wrote most of the songs for the band, which achieved two of its biggest hits with the ballads “Waiting for a Girl Like You,” which spent ten weeks at #2 on the 1981-82 American Hot 100, and “I Want to Know What Love Is,” which was a #1 hit internationally (U.S. and U.K.) in 1985. Hear Gramm perform acoustic versions of such classics as “Cold As Ice,” “Hot Blooded” and, of course, “I Want to Know What Love Is,” and “Waiting for a Girl Like You.”
