Car parade celebrates Lynbrook veteran’s 93rd birthday

With lights and sirens blaring, Lynbrook firefighters and police officers drove down Vine Street in Lynbrook on Sunday in their fire trucks and patrol cars to honor World War II veteran and longtime Lynbrook resident William Vogric.
The parade was organized to celebrate Vogric’s 93rd birthday on Sunday. Attendees included Lynbrook Mayor Alan Beach and a group of local veterans. Video of the event can be found at lynbrookfd.org under the Press Room tab and on Lynbrook TV Channel 20/33.
