These Lynbrook children used their time off from school to help out the people of Long Beach. The children assembled brown paper bag lunches that contained ham, turkey, bologna, & peanut butter jelly sandwiches along with fruit, snack, & moist towelette for hand cleaning. Items were donated by Roma Rays bread company of Lynbrook to make the sandwiches. When we delivered the sandwich bags to the people outside Long Beach City Hall people were so thankful. A woman actually wept at the sight of an apple!
