Gambling devices seized in Uniondale, Roosevelt

Nassau police seized a total of 10 illegal gambling machines and an unspecified amount of money from two businesses in Uniondale and Roosevelt on July 31.

At El Retumbo Deli on Front Street in Uniondale, police found five gambling devices and money. Sandra Reyes, 44, of 4th Street, Brentwood, was arrested.

Another five machines and money was taken from the Nassau Road Fish Market on Nassau Road in Roosevelt. Rafael Osorio, 26, of North Columbus Avenue, Freeport was arrested.

Reyes and Osorio are charged with govern licensee: on premise disorderly/gambling.

Both were issues appearance tickets. They are due back in First District Court in Hempstead on Aug. 9.
