The Calhoun girls’ varsity badminton team recently won the Nassau County Championship with a 4-3 victory over Great Neck South. Team Captain Christina Strezenec won the overall singles title, beating out all other Nassau badminton players in a two-day tournament. With this win, Strezenec became the only player in Calhoun history to win four county titles playing a varsity sport. more
