District 30 meeting re-scheduled

A special Board of Education meeting in Valley Stream District 30, originally scheduled for Thursday, July 26, has been postponed.
The meeting will now be held on Tuesday, July 31 at 7 p.m. in the Shaw Avenue School auditorium. The board is expected to appoint a new superintendent of schools to succeed Dr. Elaine Kanas, who is leaving to take the same position in the East Williston School District.
