Shot fired in Valley Stream, no injuries

Nassau County Police are seeking the man who fired a gun at a Valley Stream home late Tuesday night.

According to police, a 36-year-old Montgomery Street resident saw a man pointing a handgun and running after another man, into his backyard, shortly after 11:30 p.m. on May 29. The first man fired one shot from his gun, hitting the house, possibly after noticing the resident watching.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 25 years old with a small build wearing a white T-shirt and green pants. The second suspect is described as a black male with an unknown article of clothing covering his face. A third suspect, described as a black male, was seen standing the driveway. All three fled the scene after the shot was fired.

Police responded and did not recover any shell casings. No injuries were reported and the investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-TIPS.
