The Knights of Columbus hosted its annual Free-Throw Competition last Saturday afternoon at Holy Name of Mary School. More than two dozen children and teens participated in the basketball contest.
It was hosted by the Father Thomas Carroll and St. Therese the Little Flower councils, and was open to boys and girls ages 9-14. Participants had 15 shots to make as many baskets as possible. The winners will return to the school on Feb. 22 for the second round of competition.
