Two BJ’s employees arrested in $175,000 fraud scheme in Valley Stream

Two men have been arrested in connection with a months-long grand larceny investigation in Valley Stream, according to the Electronics Squad Fraud and Forgery Unit.

Detectives reported that Ranaldo Davis, 19, of Rosedale, and Marquis Johnson, 31, of Westbury, were both employed at BJ’s Wholesale Club located at 125 Green Acres Rd.  Authorities allege that between Jan. 13 and April 12, the two men acted together to file multiple fraudulent returns totaling approximately $175,000.

Nassau County police said both men were taken into custody on April 14 without incident.

Davis and Johnson have each been charged with grand larceny and falsifying business records. They are scheduled to be arraigned April 15 at First District Court in Hempstead.
