Lakeview Library’s virtual Easter Egg Hunt

Posted

Easter is fast approaching, and the Lakeview Public Library plans to host a virtual Egg Hunt, in which children will collect “eggs” on windows, social media and through online games and activities. The library will also post Easter activities on their social media accounts for kids to collect eggs and engage in fun activities.

Children who complete those activities can trade in their virtual eggs for real ones once the library opens again. The library requests that people put drawings of eggs in their windows for children to find during social distance walks. Children and adults can walk and collect pictures of eggs and rainbows. Also, parents can post photos of eggs on the library’s social media pages that kids can like, share or retweet to collect eggs.

Follow the library on social media and look out for posts with Easter activities such as crafts, coloring pages and more on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Comment on the library’s posts to inform them that you completed or even add your own challenge. Parents can also post pictures of their children doing the activities, direct message the library on social media, or email ireckson@nassaulibrary.info
