Local doctor named director at South Nassau Communities Hospital

After nearly 25 years of working in the field of internal medicine and gastroenterology, Meyer Blumstein, MD, of West Hempstead, was named by South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside as director of gastrointestinal motility testing. Blumstein is a specialist in endoscopy, gatroesophageal reflux disease and inflammatory bowel disease. He is an assistant professor of medicine at Albert Einstein College School of Medicine in the Bronx and practices internal medicine and gastroenterology with South Shore Internal Medicine Associates, based in Lynbrook.
