Malverne's Celebration of Arts displays strokes of genius
The talent and creativity of Malverne students was recently on display for the community to enjoy at the district’s annual Celebration of the Arts exhibition.
The gym Malverne High School was filled to the brim with hundreds of pieces of art created by students from throughout the district under the guidance of art educators.
The pieces included nature scenes, still lifes, profiles, and more. The district’s art program provides another medium through which students can not only learn more about the world around them, but express their inner worlds as well.
The district is “proud of all the young artists who put time, energy and emotion into their works of art,” officials said, “And are grateful to the art teachers who spent days curating this exceptional exhibit.”
