Teachers face off to raise funds

Teachers from each of West Hempstead’s schools faced off and the West Hempstead Middle School teachers held up three fingers to symbolize winning three consecutive years.

The West Hempstead Education Association held its Third Annual WHEA Volleyball Scholarship Game at the West Hempstead High School on Friday, March 4. The event, in which faculty members from throughtout the district team up and face off, raises money that goes toward scholarships for West Hempstead graduating seniors.
