West Hempstead woman wins scholarship

    Nikla Hendricks, of West Hempstead, was one of two winners of Hofstra University's Roy Cacciatore Economic Development Endowed Scholarship this year.
    The Long Island Business Development Council sponsors the scholarship, which is presented to individuals who enroll in Hofstra University's Entrepreneurship Program. It was presented to Henricks and to Raymond Callender, of Rosedale, during an LIBDC dinner.
