The Hewlett Leaders Corps sponsored its second annual Fall Bash on Nov. 3 for special-needs students at Hewlett High School and a dozen other schools including Lynbrook, East Rockaway, Mineola, and New Hyde Park. Hewlett High’s Bulldog Buddies, a student organization, also attended the dance.

The atrium of South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside was packed with people on Oct. 20 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Hewlett-placed SIBSPlace (Survivorship in Brothers and Sisters), a free after-school therapeutic program founded by Hewlett Harbor resident Michael Schamroth in partnership with South Nassau.
