From March 11 through May 31, between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., there will be road closures at the Nassau Expressway and Seagirt Boulevard interchange in Lawrence to perform maintenance on the Seagirt Boulevard Bridge, according to the state Department of Transportation.

At least 10 residents from the Five Towns were allegedly scammed through the Hewlett-Woodmere District 14 Residents Facebook group after paying an individual, who advertised himself as a neighbor, to do handy work or snow plowing. The person did not show up to complete any pre-paid, promised jobs.
