Students at Birch School marked the approaching end of the school year with a day of fun, friendship and school spirit during Friendship Day on June 18.

The annual celebration featured a variety of activities both outdoors and inside the school, giving students opportunities to stay active, work together and enjoy time with their classmates.

Students navigated obstacle courses and participated in lawn games organized by Rookies Kids Fitness & Athletics. They also competed in scooter races, kickball games and knockout tournaments throughout the day.

Inside the school, students enjoyed an arcade set up in the gymnasium and lunchrooms. Music was also a centerpiece of the celebration, with students taking part in a silent DJ experience indoors and dancing at an outdoor DJ party.

The event encouraged teamwork, friendly competition and school spirit while providing students with a memorable way to celebrate the conclusion of the academic year.

District officials thanked the Birch PTA for organizing and supporting the event.
