Green Hornets kick off 2011 season

The Valley Stream Green Hornets youth football league kicked off its 2011 season with a pep rally at Firemen's Field on Sept. 9. Players, parents and and coaches heard opening remarks from league President Sharon Daly and saw a performance by the varsity cheerleaders.
