Arrests

On March 10 at 4:45 p.m., a 21-year-old Yonkers woman was arrested andcharged with assault after an incident on Daley Place.

At 8:28 p.m. on March 10, a 40-year-old Uniondale woman was arrested and charged with criminal impersonation, aggravated unlicensed operation, speeding and operating an unregistered vehicle after an incident on Peninsula Boulevard on Sept. 7.

Grand larceny

A Freer Street resident reported on March 8 that between 6:30 p.m. on March 7 and 6 a.m. on March 8, someone removed the tires and rims from his 2019 Honda, which was parked on the street in front of his home. The loss totaled about $2,900.

At 12:30 p.m. on March 11, a Lynbrook resident reported that someone withdrew funds from her Webster Bank checking account using a fraudulent check. The total loss was about 8,250.

Criminal mischief

On March 10 at 3:50 p.m., the operator of a NICE bus reported that an irate woman kicked the exit door of the vehicle while getting off at her stop, causing about $3,500 in damage.
