No one was hurt in the house fire at 304 Madison Ave. in Cedarhurst on Aug. 4.

Lawrence-Cedarhurst and Inwood fire departments helped to extinguish a house fire at 304 Madison Ave., between 5th and 6th avenues in Cedarhurst after midnight on Aug. 4.
Fire was found between the second floor ceiling andthe roof, including the home's attic. Though the family was inside at the time of the blaze, no one was reporterd injured, officials said. The family found refuge in a neighbor's home.
The Nassau County Fire Marshal determined that the fire was not suspicious.
