First annual holiday breakfast at Rascal House

Rascal House, a day care and learning center for children six weeks to 5 years old, coordinated its first annual Breakfast with Santa in conjunction with the Oceanside Lutheran Church. The event was held Dec. 5 in the church's auditorium. Various local businesses donated food and raffle items for the breakfast, where Santa posed for pictures with the kids. Raffle prizes included a flower arrangement, jewelry and wine baskets, and homemade gingerbread houses. Kids had a chance to get fake tattoos or their faces painted, in addition to visiting with Santa.
