Brownie Troop No. 2268 of Island Beach Association held a bake off at Gentle Brew in Long Beach Feb. 12. According to Troop Leader Margaret Nagle Moran 20 girls took part, making brownies, cookies and cakes.
The bake off was judged by staff of Gentle Brew, where donated homemade hot chocolate with marshmallows. .
The winner will attend the Island Beach Council event on Feb. 28, to compete with the winning recipe at the Long Beach recreation building.
